Well, it's been maybe about 10 years since I've heard a few songs I loved way-back when I was like...5. xD So here they are:

Jewel - You Were Meant For Me
Donna Lewis - I Love You Always Forever

Haha. How about you guys? :]

I remember waking up to Iron Maiden when I was a little kid ( 20 years ago D: ) and I spent the months my mother was a doctor in practice at my grandmother's house x( .

My uncle, who is 7 and a half years older than me, would blast the latest Iron maiden record to that date at 8 am when he woke up for school ;_; .

I also remember the songs to Captain Harlock, Gi Joe, Voltron, Mazinger Z, Transformers, as well as the Beatle's song "Yellow Submarine".

My mother gave me her tapes of The Beatles when she had to leave for her practice period in some god forsaken mountain town, and I remember listening to that song over and over again every time I missed her.

I never learned what the lyrics meant until a few years later, though. When I was about 9, after two years of english lessons. >_>

Octopus's Garden, one of the only Beatles songs written by Ringo Starr, from the Abbey Road album. It's such a happy little tune. XD

On that note -

Yellow Submarine, which is actually from the album Revolver, then later on the movie LP. Another happy little Beatles tune, also predominately sung by Ringo (Paul McCartney wrote it).

//edit - just read Kurd Jam's response. Cool beans, man. Another Yellow Submarine listener. :D
