I think it's a group of people who like a tv show or book or whatever. Like a fan club.
I just make icons of random model pics I find. Like off of foto decadent. It's not really any kind of fandom, though. |

i usually make icons on what i'm into
my icons (which by the way i have a few more to add...) i guess i like to see icons like what grieved-lightness.com makes and marzipan 's style but seeing icons of asian singers are cool too |

oh, oops.
fandom is basically whatever you're a fan of. so, one of my fandoms is bsg, cuz i go into crazy fangirl mode when its on, and then icon it afterwards. |

Pretty much TV shows that I'm into, Movies that I like, etc. I used to make couture ones (back when couturestudio.net was open), but I have to find a good place to find high quality couture photos.

I usually focus my icons on nature-y things like beaches and scenery and such. |

I like funny icons mostly.
but I think the re-saturation/coloring of icons has become a bit too cliche. Everyone does it for the effect and for me the effect just shows you can follow the crowd |

I have far too many fandoms to list. ;-)
Usually if I'm iconing, I'll use something Whedonesque (Buffy, Angel, Serenity), Monica Belluci (she just has such an amazing face), Comics (typically Wonder Woman or Zatanna) or Tori Amos (who has such a range in her pictures). I'm surprised, seeing as how much I love Harry Potter that I haven't done much with them. |

i usually icon heroes.
 my past five icon batches have been like just heroes.  but i like making icons of harry potter, house md, and random schmexy actors a lot too. in the future i will (i must!  ) be making icons of potc, ugly betty, greys anatomy, and too many others to name.
