Thunder Snow? Options

There's a blizzard warning here, with expected 2-4 feet of snow and 50mph winds. The airport is closed, the bars, the churches have cancelled Sunday service, and so far 7 people have died. I live on a main road in WI, so I've seen 4 accidents today on my road.

Tonight my ghetto window in the hallway by my room decided to let snow through and so there was snow all over the floor. It was a mess to clean up. And being the improviser I am, I put towels around it and taped up recycle bags but it got the job done.

... what are some of the unexpected things that have happened to you during bad weather?



By the way: Thunder Snow is like ice rain with big bursts of snow. Fun fun. And just the other day it almost 50 degrees out and sunny. Blah.

Nothing as terrible as a window, but during Freshman year, a friend and I went to the library because it was raining. After about ten minutes of no rain, my friend and I decide to start walking home. And ooh la laaa, about a half minute after beginning to walk, it starts to rain again! Hard. Oh, joy.

That really sucks about your window and all the people that died. Hopefully the weather changes soon. Nothing really happens to me during bad weather other than pretty much the rain starting when I am halfway home. Other than stuff like that mothing major at least that I can recall.

hmmm i heard we're suppose to get snow and sleet starting tomorrow evening or something like that.. so i gueess its that storm thats over wehre you are.

yea it was like 55 wednesday. most of the snow melted from the big snow storm like 2 weeks ago, btu now its really cold and theres ice everywhere. :-(

oh and ive never heard of thunder snow and i live up in the north
