different brands of bottled water have been out, and they do not cost $1-5. these brands are popular with celebrities *who else right?*

they are all on Aqua Maestro.com.

two examples:

Voss Water
.5L Still Water - $43.25
.8L Sparkling - $35.59

QUOTE
Voss Artesian bottled water is taken from a virgin aquifer that, according to the company, has been shielded for centuries under ice and rock in the untouched wilderness of Central Norway. Perhaps more to the point in today's world of lifestyle trends, Voss's stunning cylindrical package has quickly developed a superior image and significant market share in the ultra-premium bottled water segment.

The company adds bicarbonate to the sparkling version, hence the elevated mineral reading compared to the still version.

Bling H20
.5L Still in a PET bottle - $30.45
.75L Still in a Fancy Glass - $441.00

QUOTE
Tennessee's English Mountain Spring, famous for over a century, has a new face. It is none other than Bling H20, a custom bottler with Hollywood flair, a company that has taken the extraordinary step of putting English Mountain in museum quality glazed bottles adorned with Swarovski crystals. For those on a more normal budget, Bling also packages English Mountain in a unique, bubble-molded half-liter plastic bottle.

BLING H20/English Mountain is virtually nitrate-free, sodium-free, and contains minimal chlorides. The 100 milligrams per liter of Bicarbonate account for the pH of 7.66, an optimal pH level for those who appreciate a slightly sweet taste.

so.. what do you think? is it worth it?

Does it make me healthier than the water I buy in Costco, in any way? For $441.00, it better extend my life for a good two years.

My friend has had expensive water, and she says it does taste better but....still not worth the money. Maybe a splurge every now and then, but never, ever on even a weekly basis.

The most expensive water I'll buy is Fiji pinch.gif but, it's really good.

I could understand why better water would cost more. Where it's from, how it's purified, vitamins and minerals that have been added to it (think about it, you pay for your V&M in pill form, no different for water), and packaging. Obviously that water has gone through all of that, and esspecially packaging.

I checked the website and it's not as expensive as you think. They're all in cases of 12+ bottles. It'd still be pretty expensive though..

But I saw Vitamin Water on there and oh my effing God, that stuff is good. It's usually like $2 a bottle, but it's SOO good.

I love Voss water. Well... the water's just like every other type of bottled water, but I liked the bottle. It was only $2 for a tall one at Whole Foods, so I bought it [:

^x3 Really? I'm always too scared to give it a try, like it'll ruin my experience with water for the rest of my life. (I have really stupid phobias, in case no one has noticed.)

I tried the Voss water before. I actually didn't like it too much. It tasted like water from my sink lol. But I thought the bottle was neat =] It's all about design. Perrier is ok, but too carbonated for me. And I loveeee GEROLSTEINER<33 My mom buys it all the time.

The bottles are pretty and maybe it tastes more pure, but in the end water is water. I don't mind having Poland Spring, Evian, Dasani, etc. I suppose it's nice to treat yourself to something like Voss every once in a while though.

I've tried Fiji before, and you can taste the difference in great-quality water.

But seriously, unless this water makes some dramatic and wondrous change in my life, I think I'll pass on splurging that much.

I saw Bling h20 on TV. When they were testing it, they said regular tap water tasted better. shrug.gif

I personally think it's ridiculous to spend that much money on water. As long as my water is safe and doesen't taste like dirt, I'm fine.

Wow, I'll just stick with Poland Spring or Dasani.
As long as it doesn't taste like toilet water or chloride, it's fine with me.

I buy Fuji water and it has the same Ph level as the bling water up there.
It's not really the water itself that is expensive and special, more the packing and stuff.
I bet if they put the water in just regular bottles it wouldn't cost any more then a bottle of Fuji or Evian.

I know its just for status, but still that's rediculous. crazy.gif some of these water's are selling at such high prices merely on presentation of the bottle. seriously, if we put plain old tap water in a few of these bottles and regular water like deer park and poland spring, and like bling h2o, and voss. people would go for the nicer presentation and say it tastes better than the rest. blink.gif The most expensive water I've gotten would be Fiji, it tasted better than some other water I have tasted, but I don't drink it on a regular basis, just one in a while. I'm fine with deer park- that's the one we get for our dispenser.

I may go back and buy some. laugh.gif

I've had vitamin water, and it is good. But some of them with the label "taurine", scares me a little. At first I thought it had something to do with the urine of a bull...or something. ermm.gif But it isn't. laugh.gif

I'm not picky about my water. I like the Aquafina and Propel flavored waters though. _smile.gif

I drink all kinds of water. It doesn't really matter to me. The bottles are pretty. _smile.gif
