Does anyone have any tips or special tutorials that can teach you how to cut and image out smoothly? when i make banners [with the celebreties] i always cut it out choppyish making it very 'unattractive' when i stroke the picture; i'm usin' photoshop cs2

HELP PLEASE!?

What method do you use at the moment? The eraser, brushing on a mask, pen tool, lasso tool?

When erasing or using a brush, you can use a soft brush so that the edges aren't so rough.

If you happen to use the pen or lasso tools, you can cut outside the edges. Then make it into a selection, contract it, and blur the outside edge so that it "blends" into the background. Not the best way, but it worked when I started out. :)
