You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

I signed up for this church camp about two weeks ago, and it's this weekend. But I JUST realized that my really good friend's 16th birthday party is RIGHT in the middle of the camp! Really really really stupid of me...
I don't know if I can cancel it at the last minute, or if I even should. I already told both people at church that I'm going, but I also promised my friend awhile ago that I'd go to her party. sad.gif What do you guys think?

People make mistakes, whatever side you choose you should be ok. As long as your not irresponsible about it, it shouldn't matter (a.k.a. don't cancel plans without telling the person your canceling plans with). I think you should prioritize. Do you think your friends party would be better than going to church camp? If so, choose your friend. If you think that church camp is more important than your friends party, then choose your church.

I suggest you go to your friend's party because she only has one 16th birthday party.

There will always be a church camp.

You should definitely go to her party. There will always be church events, there is only one 16th birthday of her's that you can go to.
