College, Attending or want to attend Options

I want to attend FIDM (FASHION INSTITUATE DESIGN MERCHANDISE) in Los Angeles, California. But thats going to be one tough work -__-;
Because I want to study graphic design there or fashion o____o;;;
But graphic is most likely the answer.

It is my dream college, but I don't think I will ever get in because of my parents -____________________________-;;;; I don't know. We'll see.

Another choice is Shoreline Community College.. so many asians there and a lot of fun!! haha! not just that, but they teach real good graphic design there, so I might might might go there ^___^ but I do have 100% feeling that I'll go there haha^^

I sorta really want to go to Caltech (California Institute of Technology).
I hear their astronomy program is awesome. And it's near LA and near NASA (the Jet Propulsion Lab).
It's really far from my home though. About 2,000 miles..


But I really want to go to a school with good science and business programs. I don't care how far I have to travel. If I find one, I'm going!
So far, I haven't found one, but I'm working on it

Definitely Caltech, but it's too hard to get into. I'll try anyways..
Considering: MIT. Columbia. Stanford. Just anywhere with at least an astronomy program. Engineering/aeronautics/biology is always a plus.

I love to stay in California and I just don't wanna move out to far.

UC Berkeley: Oh God, it's the best public university out there. I don't have to pay as much but the school is prestigious as well, especially I am pursuing a medical career, which UC Berkeley is good at.

UCLA: It's closer and I probably need to live in a dorm but at least I don't have to drive that far. UCLA has a good medical major too, so I am so gonna apply there.

UC San Diego: Ahh, I love this too. Close enough to go back home every week and the school is good, and the requirements aren't as strict as UC Berkeley nor UCLA.

UC Davis or UC Irvine: I would choose either one of them, I like Davis more but Irvine is closer to me.

Cal State Fullerton or Cal Poly Pomona: They aren't my top choices but they are alternatives when I couldn't get into UC, besides, anything scientific for the major is fine with me.

I would like to go to USC, Cal Tech, or Standford if I have money...

If I would move out, I might apply for University of Washington.

My friend got a perfect score on the ACT, and he got rejected by Stanford. Not even deferred, rejected. Our saludatorian got in, though.

This whole college thing really isn't going well for me. Argh.

Because I just like it. There's warm weather. There's a lot of asians. The cost is adequate. It's kinda far from home, but close enough that I can get a plane ticket and be there in 4 -5 hours.
This is my dream college. Though I doubt I'll be accepted, it serves good motivational purposes.

I've changed my mind since the last post:

Georgetown: it has AMAZING international relations and language programs with a few decent dance companies nearby. The only problem is the lack of a strong art department. It's also a bit farther then I wanted to go as well.

PRATT Institute: not only is it in the best city in the world (New York) but it's one of the top art schools. I have $25,000 a year scholarship already, but that's only a little over half of the cost. Money is the major problem there. It's around 45,000 a year.

Rice university because it's full of excite me. You have to see it for yourself! + I love the name, lol. And its located in Houston, Texas.

IDEALLY, NYU. but less ideally, Macalaster, though still... very ideally.

I wanna go to Northwestern for its Honors Medical Programs. it guarantees admission into med school and in less the time

same here. im like inlove with northwestern, location, school, everything is just brilliant! I will definately be applying there as my first choice, and then to Stanford, and UCLA and if all else fails..then university of chicago.

Well, it looks like I'm going to end up staying home and going somewhere locally, but...

All are in Florida.

+ Flagler - LOVE LOVE the location... heck its St. Augustine. It's a smaller school, and not that expensive... which is definately a plus. But they dont have the majors I'm interested in.

+ Saint Leo
+ Florida Southern

Sooo expensive though, especially with the crappy scholarship I'll probably get. Florida's public universities are pretty sucky... but I'll probably end up going to University of South Florida.
