There are times when I all I want to do is sit down and think about all the deep topics like death, meaning of life, and all of the things that can be so depressing and so uplifting at the same time.

Sometimes, I end up regretting the time I took to really think because all I ever end up doing is knowing that I don't know much at all.

So, is ignorance bliss or just a form of self-repression?

I hate how I think so much that everything becomes so complicated.
But I don't like "ignorance is bliss" though because it makes me feel stupid.

I don't think ignorance is bliss. Sure, it's a lot better to not be hurt by not knowing, but is it really? I think the more you think, the wiser you become. Although, if you don't think before you act, you will eventually learn from your mistakes. So either way, ignorance would be eliminated.

ignorance is bliss
thinking too much is crazy why spend all your time thinking intently about life, love, death, and other deep things when you could be living, loving, dying. We only have one life you might as well enjoy it.
Live laugh love, right?
People are going to think about things subconsciously anyways so you might as well not waste your time consciously concentrating.

I have respect for philosphers who get into all that deep stuff but idk
I'd rather be blissfully ignorant

My ignorance is not causing me bliss. For example, my ignorance of spanish, which then caused me to get a 40 on mi examen, which made my teacher wonder wtf happened to me and i'm pretty sure he called the rents but neither are letting on.

My ignorance is causing me stress. Not bliss. Dammit, I want bliss.

Meh. Sorry, had a bad day @ school. But uhm, sometimes it can be blissful not to know anything and just be content with myself. Sometimes.

Ignorance is not bliss. While it's depressing to think about serious topics like that, at least you're aware of everything that goes on in life and can work on learning more about it. It's better to be well-informed than to live a life that's...incomplete, somehow. I don't know how some people live without realizing the bigger things in life. It seems like you don't get the full range of life experiences if you do that.

Personally, I believe that ignorance is more of a contention than really bliss.

There's something about knowing the pains and joys of this world that elevates the senses and makes life actually blissful, and not just...I don't know; numb, maybe? Like, by knowing pain, by thinking deep thoughts, we know what true happiness is.

Yes, exactly. While it's painful to think about some things, it helps us realize happiness better. Everything has its good and bad sides.
