Is being a "flirt" a good or bad thing?
I've been called that a few times in my life, mostly jokingly, but there are some girls that damn, are like the most agressive girls ever. However, I sometimes see this divide when people are looking at her. Some people see her as a total slut, and some people see her as just...a um, very forward person. |

It depends. If you do it with a lot of guys all the time, then you probably look like a slut. If you flirt with a guy you like, then I guess there's no problem.
 Depends how you're flirting and who you're flirting with.

I say its a maybe thing. There's the term flirt where you're overly friendly to everyone and is often seen as a slut or attention...lover. There's the other one that is a sweet way to snag your crush. It depends on how much you flirt.

Well, another question that can come up is is it okay to flirt with boys that you don't necessarily like but just...feel like talking to?

When I do that, I accidentally lead guys on and then they end up asking me out.
Some of them I dont care for too much.

It depends how much you flirt, and how you flirt and if you already have a boyfriend or not. I know I'm a flirt...but not so much anymore as I have my boyfriend, but I can be one. Its not necessarily a bad thing I don't think...it depends.

I think a flirt is someone who just flirts just as hard if she/he were single or not.
I think it is okay but very misleading sometimes. |

Hah. I flirt a lot. Though all my friends know I'm joking. It doesen't really matter anyways because they flirt back.
 But yeah, I guess it doesen't really matter. I don't really try to flirt when I want to get a guy anyways..

It's weird, I've been called a flirt by some people and then others say I'm not. It all depends on people's definition of a flirt. I think it's annoying when girls / guys flirt with ANYONE.

If you flirt constantly and with everyone, that's bad. Friendly flirting (I can't think of another way to say it) is okay though.

I dont think it is fair to judge a girl by how much she flirts. If a girl flirts a lot it does not mean she is a whore maybe she just enjoys the social interaction in a teasing, joking way. Some girls flirt and they dont even realize they are doing it, other girls flirt intentionally and know how to get what they want. But just because someone flirts doesnt mean they are going to "act on" the flirting they might just flirt for fun and have no intentions of going anywhere with their flirt.
If a girl is called a slut for flirting then the person/people calling her a slut are probably just jealous that they arent the ones flirting themselves or they are haters but either way hate=jealousy The real sluts are the ones that go sleeping around, not flirting around |
