My best friend and I like each other. If you would ask me, I think it is rather obvious, we just never told each other. Other people think so, too. But my problem is that we're both too shy to say anything. And I know if I don't do something, he won't. WHAT DO I DO???????????????

Sometimes you have to be stright forward about your feelings and go for what you feel is best. If you know you like him and he likes you.. damn.. GO FOR IT!

Sometimes you just have to stiffen up your back and hope for the best. Try not to trip over your words. Say what you feel and it should work out fine. He is your bestfriend he should understand. happy.gif

If you feel uncomfortable with telling him face to face, write him a nice letter and then wait for his reaction.

I think you just answered your own question. Look at it again, and act upon it. Shyness is an excuse, not a reason. Grow a pair in the metaphorical sense.

laugh.gif I love how you brought this up. I read over it and saw that she did answer her own question. I was about to say something about it before you posted this. Haha pinch.gif

I agree! Don't rush into anything. Let it happen. Love comes and goes, good friendship is worth holding on to.

You do something. He does not always have to make the first move. We don't live in the old ages.

well if your not shy to tell us about this, then you shouldn't be shy to tell him. although i know its easier said then done, but if you wont tell him now, you might not ever get the chance to.

Hate to say it but once your in a relationship you pretty much say goodbye to being friends ever again. Is that a risk your willing to take??

P.S. you can still be friends after, but normally its either really hard to get OR not as as strong but its slightly possible

not ALWAYS. sometimes you're still friends with your ex. it just depends on how your relationship with them was. if it wasn't really too romantic, you can probably go back to being friends quickly.

edit: didn't see your PS, nvm.
