Anyways. I just made this topic to get some suggestions on making money.

Keep in mind, I'm fourteen, and I can't get a job until I'm 16 (that's sort of the law around here. so yeah. and there isnt any family business i can help out with).

And, would it be possible to sort of think out of the box? like. I know babysitting, mowing the lawn, etc. are very commen suggestions. But, I'm not really good with kids, I live in an apartment area so there arent really lawns to mow..and my dad probably wouldn't let me go somewhere else to do work (it'd have to be in my neighborhood at least).

and no..there's no specific amount I'm trying to earn...I just want to use my own money on some things, instead of using my parent's money on everything.

thanks?

You could do other people's homework for payment. rolleyes.gif

Or you could go the more um, academically honest way and make a deal with your parents to get money for every good grade you get. I know technically it's from your parents, but you are earning it.

^ That is entirely inappropriate. Given your history, and the familiarity with the Forum Guidelines which you should have built up by now, your warning level will be increased, and the next offense will see you on mod preview.

As far as this thread goes, I suggest you use any special skills you may have... I mean, my friend made really high quality jewelry, and so we got together, and went to a few trade fairs, and made some money selling that...

And, you wanted people to think outside the box, which is great, but there IS always things ike babysitting to fall back on... also, you may be surprised at the opportunites to work even if you aren't 16 yet... try asking around with neighbours, friends of your parents, and people like that.
