Estoy realmente alegre tú los individuos como las banderas. En cuanto alguien mencionó Selina arriba, amé sus canciones y es triste que la mataron.

translation: I'm really glad you guys like the banners. As for someone mentioned Selina above, I loved her songs and it's sad that she was killed.

Yolanda Saldivar is currently serving a life-sentence in Texas.

I thought Ms. Lopez did an excellent job portraying her. It wasn't just an imitation, she really acted her heart out.

yeah i loved jlo's preformance as salena

i hated how people [mostly mexicans] protested when they found out a puerto rican would be playing the role of selena.
that was bullshit right there.

i saw on tv yesterday that Yolanda in 18 more years she can file to be left out of jail but after a list load of conditions. I doubt that she will be free. ugh she is so freakin ugly. and she still says it was all an accident and how can she kill her best friend....she pisses me off.

I LOVED the movie. jlo did a good job of portraying Selena.

Hola. Apesadumbrado no he estado encendido adentro por siempre aquí. Estoy intentando ser más activo en el centro del recurso. Detrás en asunto, utilizo hacer bailar mexicano. ¡Estoy consiguiendo el alimento mexicano esta noche!

Me Encanta hacer que la gente enrolla abajo de la página. (this was probably said wrong)

another latina wanting to join =D
Guatemalan to be specific.
so uh who here likes regeatton? i know i do !
on my name's jen

so question. anyone here embarassed of being latino?
cuz some of my friends are. personally I'm not. I'm a proud latina
I embrace my culture and live it. I am American AND Latina.

the one thing that does upset me is the fact that people ASSUME anyone who looks latino or speaks spanish is mexican. I'm sorry but we're not all Mexicans. i just think that people can be ignorant sometimes. There are Guatemalans. Peruvians. Nicaraguans. not only Mexicans.
I mean i love mexicans, but i dunno i think people need to be imformed that latinos are made up of many different nationalities.

yeah.
really i dont see what peoples issues are against minority scholarships.
i had a couple small latinas in the fine arts scholarships to help me pay my way through culinary arts school.
but my biggest 20,000 dollar one was from the ACF [american culinary federation] for being the top chef in a state competion. _smile.gif
so i mean its not like thats all i relied on from college.

oh i see. so i guess in some the scholarship things are integrated with this "immigration situation" whatever. hella dumb.

i always find it intersting when i hear someone at my school say "we need to get rid of these illegal hispanics coming into OUR country and taking OUR jobs. We need to put a stop to all these hispanics jumping the border"

i see that you guys were talking about art. i think im going to a Botero ( i belive his name is Botero. ya know that artist that paints people in the shape of a mandolin? i think a mandolin) well yeah ima be going to one of his exhibits pretty soon. And i wanna see the movie Frida.
