i have a background and a header that i want centered. i have them centered and they look fine when the window is full screen but when its small the background shifts to the left. anyone know a code that would keep them centered when the window is full screen and when it's smaller. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. But first, I need to knwo how you currently have them centered. Do you have them in a div layer? If so, post your code. If not, still post your code. _smile.gif

The key is to position them in a div layer that doesn't not move (position: absolute;). But I'd like to see your code first so I don't totally screw up your layout _smile.gif

Okay. IN each of your div layers change "position: static;" to "position: absolute;"

This will probably cause some misalignment. Just play around with you margin-left numbers and margin-top numbers in your div layers to align them correctly. Or, if you need help doing that, just post a link, and we'll give you more feedback.

You probably have to refresh it a couple of times. The server does not always pick it up on the first try.
