So what's the best temporary hair dye? I'm looking for one that lasts for about a day or two and would show up on dark hair. I'm asian , what can I say? I want colors like bright pink and like, blonde to show up on darkk hair. Recommend any products?

If you only want it to last a day or two and you want bright pink or something.. then perhaps you should get that hairspray or gel stuff that lasts a day. pinch.gif I can't remember the brand, but you can get it at Wal-Mart or any beauty supply store.

If you don't want to buy colored hair spray or gel, you could always use paint.

Usually the hair spray with pink and blonde, they don't show up in asian hair. It is only translucent, not opaque like paint.

Why though? Some early Halloween party?

^no, it's just that I would like to color my hair to something very...out there;bold. But just temporarily for a day or two so I can change it the next day if I feel like it. So my hair wouldn't look so boring compared to my style. My parents would freak if it wasn't temporary.

Well, as far as I know, you can only make your hair go darker when you use temporary hair coloring. Like if you have brown/blackish hair and try dying your hair blone, it'll turn out reddish/orange. huh.gif

^ Reddish orange isn't that bad on asian hair. I was thinking about highlighting my hair with that color.

But since I never follow through with all of my plans, I never got the chance to.

Yeah. That exactally what I suggested before your post. I actually have the funky cherry in my hair right now. It does fade after the second washing though.

Nothing will show up unless you get crappy stuff that makes your hair look rock hard. If you want bright colors, you have to bleach it almost white and then put dye in it.

EDIT:

NO ACTUAL DYE WILL SHOW UP IN YOUR HAIR IF IT'S DARK BROWN.

You HAVE to bleach it. Unless you want black hair. Blonde is not a "color." Blonde is stripping your hair of color, using bleach. Trust me. I have dyed my hair blue, red, purple, pink, blonde.

Like I said, you can buy fake-looking gels and paste it on your hair, and it will stay in for a day.

ahhh dont use the loreal color pulse on blonde hair if you want it to come out completely.

I did the purple one in like june and it still hasnt washed out all the way. but that shouldn't be a problem since your hair is dark...

Yea, be careful to actually apply the dye right as wel, because trying to die your hair black and have it come ou tpurple can be a pain in the ass.

Take it from me.
