OKAY SO NOW I WANNA LEARN JAPANESE.

how do you say ????

-hello
-goodbye
-funny
There is no word in Japanese for hello, in a conventional sense. Konnichiwa literally means "good day." Ohayou means "good morning," and kombanwa is "good evening/night." Okashii means strange/funny ... But it depends on what sort of funny you mean too. I think omoshiroukashii is closer to what you meant. And seriously, you should know goodbye. It's sayounara, or sayonara as it's spelled in English.

Anyone else want Japanese? XD

I thought the rule for no translation topics meant for topics that NEEDED to be translated, i.e., topics in different languages.

I've seen it written more as "pali", although it's pronounced as "bbali"

More Korean:
Yes: Other than neh/nae, you can always use "yeh"
Goodbye (this is said to someone who is leaving): Ahnyounghee kahsaeyo
Goodbye (this is said when you are leaving): Ahnyounghee kyesaeyo
All you alright?: Kwaenchanayo?
Thank you (this one's more formal): Kamsa hamnida
Thank you (more casual): Komap seumnida
Sorry (more emphasis): Chwehsong hamnida
Sorry (less emphasis): Mian hamnida

I take German! :D I'm pretty good at understanding it. Some of the more advanced things I can't do. I can't pick up a German book and know it word for word but I can get the general idea. cool.gif
