To add fonts to Photoshop just find some sites on Google and extract the fonts to C:\Windows\Fonts. To add special effects use the Filters menu, and I think you can extract custom filters to a folder in your Photoshop root directory.

wen i extracts the fonts it says the font is not sutible for adobe photoshop ...im i doin anything wrong

the font im trying to get is saying that is .zip is that wrong or im i doing wrong

You have to open the Zip with an archiver/unzipper (like WinZip) and extract the files inside to C:\Windows\Fonts.
