Are you saying that someone hurt you emotionally, so you feel you can't love anymore?

I've personally never been a big fan of love and I often debate over it.

But, it's very sad to hear about people who have been hurt emotionally, due to the selfishness and bad treatment from others.

No, people can't promise things will get better.
Time isn't always something that heals all wounds.
& I can't say, "Try to forget", because we learn from our past.

I won't say "Look on the brightside", but I must admit, that there is always a positive with the negative, even if it isn't that great.

No really. Every teenage girl shits themselves when their first love or whatever breaks their heart, we all feel we can never go on and we'll never love another and wompwomp. But we will get better, we will find another, and our hearts will mend. As far as it having been over a year, love takes time. That's just how it goes.

I don't know, man, I'm 18 and I've said no to serious relationships and/or marriage. I don't want to get married or have kids, or any of that. Love has its ways that as soon as you get a little attached, you get hurt. I'm sure you agree to that. At least in my experiences. I've just decided to focus on my career, friends and family. Those seem to matter most.

But you'll probably be fine. Give it a while. I hope I never fall in love again too, but you never know.

Yes, serious relationships usually do get people hurt.
But, "Alls fair in love and war".
You take the good with the bad.

You just hope to get more good than bad.

In a lot of relationships, it just "does not work out", meaning the two people just are not a good pair to be dating.

Then another good portion are ended by cheating, or fighting.

But sometimes, you get lucky and you find you get along with that person, you respect each other, you hardly fight, ect. Thats a good relationship, and even if it doesnt last, because most don't, just remember the good points of the relationship, don't harp on the fact that it's over.

Why can't you love anymore? I mean....... don't you love things like to go out with your friends or your family? Maybe you could start simple? If this guy stopped you from loving (or so you say), wouldn't he be worth fighting for?

Oh yeah he's worth fighting for. He's perfect even though he hurt me.

I've been fighting for him for a long time now. I don't think I'll give up on him. See the only thing is I can't talk to him with out hurting.

Because of what he did to me.

Everyone deals with a heart breaking break up. Don't worry, you will love again. Right now, he's perfect in your eyes so you'll probably ignore our words of wisedom but you will get over him. If it hurts to talk to him, then maybe you shouldn't. I know how you feel, you don't wanna lose him ya da ya da. But you need to space yourself from him until you feel you can control yourself or until you no longer see him in that way.

well yah it is bad to give up on love i mean there's different kind of love out there like you and your family or you and your friends. i'm guessing that right now you're just giving up on romance not love cause giving up love is like giving up everything.

love someone for being family,

but I could never say I love a lover
because I don't really know
what that sort of love is it to give a person.

Can't help you there.. </3 I experince heart
aches from missing people close to me
and from serious crushes but I don't
know if recovering from those
can compare to what love+lovers undergo.

I'm sorry I can't say anything to help but I hope you'll recover..
There's just so much out there in the world waiting for you.
Don't let anyone take away the reason for giving things another go.

Give things time to heal, you might change your mind.
