Heh yeah, in need help with Photoshop. crazy.gif It's acting up. When ever I use the text tool with the size of 12pt, it comes out very small and unable to see whatsoever. It comes out so small, you can't see it to even edit it. I've tried restarting my computer, restarting photoshop, and resetting my tools.

Before, it use to be the opposite and be too big but I'd be able to fix it by reseting my tools. Now I don't know what to do, any opinions/ideas?

did you try by just making the text tool a bigger size besides 12. is this happening to every font? did you try reinstalling photoshop?

I don't use Photoshop (so I might not be the best help). Does this happen with every font? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I know that certian fonts will come up different sizes.

Reset your font tool, that always works for me. Other just type in bigger numbers to fi the font. Like you want size 12, but you can type in size 200 if you have too. (I think)

... If I were a Photoshop Doctor (which I'm not because I don't own t5he program), I would diagnose this as a corrupted prefrences file.

You know, I never leave my font on some tiny size though. Like, the last font you edit should be size 12 or higher. That usually keep it from misbehaving. At least, it keeps Elements from misbehaving.

^ I tried the shortcut keys to do the whole resetting thing but no box appeared. Then I looked at photoshop help and it told me they keys to press were the other way around. So I pressed them and still no box came up.

Ickyy, oh yeah I'm using Photoshop CS2.

Erm, then I would try just deleting it flat-out. It actually replaces itself when you start up Photoshop again.

Although, depending on what tool is active when you press shortcuts, the shortcut keys don't always work ...

I had to turn my size up to 6000 for it to look like 36 or something.

It'll eventually go away, but yes, do try resetting it. For me, it always went away.
