I wouldn't say it's scary, it's just a lot of stress to deal with. I mean I bet guys have their own hardships and challenges. But there are many things we girls have to go through. And they are the type of things guys don't have to give a great deal about but it affects us girls a lot more. (But I give props to you because at least you're thinking about what we do go through.)

I'm just going to list the things that come up in my mind right now that we go through:
-Perverts. The whistles, cat calls, looks, & everything in between!
*ALL KINDS OF PERVERTS. From construction workers to normal looking guys in their cars whistling at us for darn reason! They either whistle, huddle up w/ their friends and make annoying/uncomfortable calls to girls, just guys' eyes alone gives us a reason to be aware of our surroundings (not that I'm saying looking at people is a bad thing, but its that weird/nasty "look" like youre undressing us), etc. I mean teenage girls and women alone cannot walk down the darn street w/o being harassed. EVEN when we're not showing any skin or etc. It doesn't make us want you, it makes us get disgusted and really uncomfortable.

-Stalkers.
*Especially in the malls, parking lots, grocery stores (I've seen it happened to people/experienced it, crap gave me the creeps. The type of creeps that still remind me of it.)
-Periods/hormones. CRAZY hormones that come along w/ our periods. Plus guys like to poke fun at us for it but it's not something to joke about because seriously it was that cool to deal with. Then why would we want to project ourselves as b****s? It just happens, just like you guys can't stop yourselves from having boners right? The pain we have is unberable for some, emotionally and mostly physically. It's not just pain in the lower back but it's muscle pain everywhere else. Plus the constant reminder that we have to be careful on what we wear, if the pad moves, changing the pad every few hours is a pain in the butt, making sure the lovely "scent" doesn't contaminate everywhere we go & sit.
-Getting raped.
*(This is a big issue to me even if I haven't experienced it myself.) But I've had close friends to me had this happen, it's one of the things that should NEVER EVER be experienced by anybody but it's the corruption of the world that affects us today.
-Getting pregnant alone/w.out the help of the boyfriend/fiance/fling/whatever.
*It's bad/worse enough that girls/women are getting pregnant when they least expect it and never had a plan on having one. But what's worse is not having the other person who's in the situation to help out during this hard time. Guys need to be there for their girl no matter what. Of course its scary and life changing for both sides. But w/o the help and support it's terribly hard for the girl's life. If you're going to be man, then you might as well prove it by at least lending a helping hand. Even if you're not into her anymore or don't have the same feelings anymore. The point is, it's better to have tried to help rather than living life and looking yourself in the mirror knowing you didn't do anything.
-Falling in love.
*I don't need to explain this, it's hard/heartbreaking for both of the sexes. But we girls tend to fall hard, real hard. We never forget, but we tend to hold on to a relationship/to a guy because we believe we can turn them around. But in the back of our minds, we know very well its not the right thing but we always have this hope that the guys they fall in love will turn around.
-Having a job/position in a male dominating buisness/world.
-We have to watch our surroundings most of the time.
-Maintaining to look decent or pretty enough for guys b/c we have to compete w/ the girls you want from the magazines/movies/t.v.shows..etc.

---
I have more but those are some of the main ones. Sometimes I wish i was a guy but I think being a girl taught me a lot of things that guys won't/never will learned to deal with. But I know guys have it hard to, I mean I wouldn't mind stepping into a guy's shoes for a day.

I used to want to be a guy :)
'Cos I liked making people laugh and it seems like guys do it best
..while girls have to watch their reputations/ impressions etc.
And plus I know what girls want/ like so if I were a guy I'd know how to impress a girl
...while being a girl im kind of clueless lol

Then i grew older and realized guys have to do a lot of risk-taking, have a lot of responsibilities, etc..
I guess both has their benefits and disadvantages, so eventually it evens out.
Both are scary happy.gif
