(I didn't want to flip through so many search results, sorry if there's a topic on this)

What do you like to listen to while you're working, i.e homework, cleaning your room, etc etc.? I like to listen to my John Mayer songs. _smile.gif

Death Cab for Cutie is a favorite when I'm doing homework, anything more upbeat than that makes me just want to get up and do something else. pinch.gif

Am I the only person with "Whistle While You Work" from Snow White stuck in their head right now?

Depends on the subject. If I'm working on English or Socials, or in other words, stuff that I need to read, I can't have any music on whatsoever. But if I'm doing Chemistry or Math, then I listen to something that's softer, like John Mayer, Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, etc.

At work, I am forced to listen to either smooth jazz or french R&B songs since that's the only music that's played in the entire effing hospital.

While working at home, I tend to listen to a wide variety of styles or else sample recordings of music made by friends, girlfriend or myself.

If I'm out in the field and the circumstances permit it, I listen to nothing but jazz. Especially in Korea, where it was just an field op, we were preparing for a possible war with North Korea and the DMZ was 10 miles away, I had to keep my cool.

In the office, I find myself listening to Public Enemy, Ice Cube (pre 1994), Dead prez, Immortal Technique and anything else that questions, "the man." It helps me through the day.

Music from the 80s...best stuff EVA. Especially listening to it at work or cleaning my room. I like to listen to dance music while I'm cleaning too.

Homework, I listen to mostly underground hip hop or oldies.

If i listen to dance music while doing homework, I start to write in time with the music, which makes the whole thing more tolerable

When I do homework, I listen to piano/classical, acoustic and some melodic and indie stuff.
When I'm doing chores, I listen to pop-punk/pop-rock and electronica stuff that makes me get up and move.
When I'm in school and there's a sub or some really blind teacher that doesn't care whether or not you listen to music on class, I listen to anything that's on my :/favorites! playlist, which is currently acoustic, indie, (watered-down) emo, and pop-punk.
