Same with me. Gap's really expensive here. I don't really like to shop at Gap because they have such...preppy/athletic styles that I wouldn't normally wear. I mean, I've gotten shorts and sweatshirts there, but the standard apparel they sell? Naah. rolleyes.gif

FIFTY DOLLARS?! eek.gif
here, its like.. 10-15 bucks
why does it matter if its so cheap? the cheaper the better >< jk. it doesnt matter whaat the price is... as long as it fits and its comfortable. it doesnt matter if jeans are $10
i mean, id rather buy jeans at gap for 10 dollars than buy jeans from abercrombie for like, 50 bucks blink.gif

The next time my teacher goes to Jersey, I'm telling her to buy 10 pairs of $10 jeans at Gap.

Seriously.

its true though. 10 bucks. I just bought a whole lot of them. Gap in Jersey is like Sears. Cheap stuff. Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister... then you are talking a totally different story.

Maybe it's because some of their clothes are made in sweatshops? And their stocks are slipping.

I don't like their clothes. Not really, at least. Sure, their clothes are cheaper than AE and PacSun most of the time, but I don't like their designs. I'd rather go out and buy more expensive, good-looking clothing from other stores..

I KNOW I RECENTLY JUST STOPPED BY THE STORE !

like all of their corduroy pants were 6.99 to 9.99 but the thing is they had a lot left over from last season so i think they are trying to get rid of them.

but i didnt buy anything cause they didnt have my sizes. so i was kind of dissapointed.

I totally agree. They have been slipping, like their designs arent really saying GAP. and also what happened to their GAP hoodies, they are freaking up with them. I like the original design and i wanted to buy one for so long but they have tried that old look like hollisters hoodies and thats why i dont like them.

when i think of gap i like it to be simple clean lines and more argyle. lol

I understand how Gap is losing money and all of that, but they're prospering elsewhere. In a mall in Hawai'i, there is, in a row: Gap, Gap Kids, Gap Body, and Gap Maternity. Not saying it means they're making money, but they can't be losing that much if they have four stores in a row.

Gap's doing EXTREMELY poorly, if anyone didn't know. They just fired their CEO.

I think Gap's trying to hard to appeal to the "young and hip" crowd. They should just go back to selling really nice jeans to middle aged people.

I happen to like the (red) thing that've got going on. I think its creative. Though I don't usually shop there, I think I might check out the apparel.

Two malls in my area have had Gap stores closed. For their prices they don't offering anything worth buying. I much prefer Old Navy.
