What would you do in this terrible situation? Options

You go out at late night going for a walk, and you see your best friend getting beat up/ganged up by 4-5 people. Your tired and weak and you promised god not to hurt anyone forever deep inside your heart ... would you still go and beat the hell out of them and help your friend out or carefully ignore it?

Given that you're tired and weak, then no. It wouldn't be sensible, and you're unlikely to be of any assistance. If you both get beaten up, then it's possible that neither of you will be able to get help once it's all over, adn so the best thing to do would be to seek assistance then and there.

The only reasonable option is to help beat up your friend so he gets a faster death and goes to Heaven. Despite you promised to not hurt anyone to God, such an act of commiseration will open the gates of Heaven for you too, and you'll be able to meet him when you die.

Furthermore, you'll have made 4 or 5 new friends on Earth meanwhile!

That's assuming other "unlikely" options such as tryin to scare the gang by getting attention driven to them, calling the police, etc... can't be chosen.

If I happen to need to talk a walk late at night and see that I would:

1. find the street I'm on and call 911
2. Just ignore it cause when I'm tired, I'm not in the mood for fighting. I would save the little amount of energy I have to walk back home.
3. I would try to keep that promise to God and hope that the fight will not turn deadly.

But I really can't leave a friend behind.. My friends mean a lot to me and I can't just ignore it.

Aaaaaaanyways, I'd start out by getting help like calling the police or anybody real quick and either jump in and do as much damage as possible or distract them. As in, lure their attention away from my friend and hightail my ass outta there.
