I don't see how they'd be hard to tell apart, but that's just me. Honestly, I don't think it would be that huge of a deal if it was an honest mistake. Someone simply being too forward with their assumptions. I'm sure if I mistook someone for being of a different nationality that they wouldn't attack me for it. If they would they would've taken things way too seriously. I've been mistaken for something I'm not... but it's not like I take out a bat and beat the truth into them.
