Theism, What do you believe in? Options

I have a question.

If someone just believes in A God is that considered Theism? I read in the dictionary that is the definition of a Theist but I wanted other peoples veiws...plus I also heard in an article that anyone who believes in a god...including other religions such as Christians are also Theists, is this true? But I also heard a Theist is someone who just believes in God but doesn't believe in the church doctrine and doesn't follow a religion, is that true?

Or would you say a person who just believes is a Agnostic Theist?

I think that if someone does believe in God, then they are a Theist. So I guess anyone who believes in God (Christians, Jews, ect) are Theists.

Just like there are Theist Evolutionists - They believe in Evolution, but they believe that God made everything happen.

I am thinking I'm along the lines of Theist Agnostic, I believe there is no way of actually knowing God's existance but I believe theres a HUG chance he does exist.

The thing that doesn't make sense though...why when you go to dating sites or even like on Myspace and type in your religion that Agnostic and Atheist are religions but Theist isn't in the list either? Is not considered a religion? Cause in my opinion it should be cause it is a belief in something and if it isn't a religion then how come Atheist and Agnostic IS?

Well, my Myspace profile does say Agnostic but I also have a blog explaining my beliefs and basically where I stand. But I do believe there is a HUGE possiblity of God...I mean look at how perfect the earth is, the human brain, the nature..just everything but I just don't know and we will never know until we actually die and see God. But believe me, when that happens, I have LOTS of Questions...
