Hi everyone I'm having a bit of problem with my winamp. I installed the lastest winamp and everthing works fine. The problem comes when I pause the song, the pausing is ok but when I press the play button the whole song is covered by static. You can't even hear the song, only static. So does anyone know how to fix problem? Anyone had this problem before? Thanks a lot. I'm sorry if there's all ready a post on this.

Love,

Well I did use iTunes cuz I have an Ipod. I dont know though..it's kind of weird for me. Don't all the songs have to be converted to be put in the ipod. So won't that means it's going to take up more space?

^ No, it'll still convert it. If it doesn't play the format, it'll convert it. If it does, then it won't convert.

If you don't want it to take up more memory, convert it and then delete the original file..

But here:

That'll definitely help you solve your problem. I hope.

^Err...I'm sorry but the link didn't help. I don't know what's wrong. It's only when I pause and then play the song that the static starts to come. Anyone ever had this problem? Anyone know a better alternative to winamp? Thanks!

Your problem sounds a lot like this one:

Try reverting to 5.22 or an even older version.
