Depending on how well you two know each other, either a photoalbum or just a picture in a nice frame. Maybe also include a little souvenier from the state you live in now, too.

If you guys are close and have known each other for awhile, then I think a photo album, or a photo in a frame would be nice.
Or do like Kristina said, and get him/her a heater. I bet its FREEZING in Minnesotta with all that snow and ice storms they've had.

Get that heater. Seriously. Minnesota can be damn cold.
And if not the heater, something practical. Nothing's coming to mind at the moment, but since he's a 26 year old guy, and I don't mean to stereotype here, but he probably won't be able to do much with a photo album. |

Is there anything that you guys used to always do together? Like...if he loved eating rice krispies, get him a box of rice krispies!
