I threw together a layout because my christmas one is a bit outdated now I don't have my computer with me during break, so this is the best I could put together without any of my brushes...haha. It's pretty much only viewable in IE. here are the screenshots:

For those that use Firefox: I know my layout looks like complete crap. The nav is bad, the positioning is bad, the transparency doesn't work, my friends don't show up, etc. Do you have any suggestions for fixing that?? I don't use FF at all, but alot of my friends do and sometimes my layouts make it impossible for them to do anything on my page. I thought I'd start catering to you guys!

Regarding the firefox problem, I would make a topic in myspace help with your code in it. Maybe you can get help there. It kind of works in the mac browser , but your comments go straight down the page, which doesn't look too good. Also the background is white, which doesn't go to well to me, but its ok. I like the design, and the way you positioned everything. The blue background is a little eh but overall its ok and I like the concept.

yeah...I think I might do that. My comments are definitely not supposed to scroll down to the bottom of the page. And the background is supposed to be light pink, so apparently my layout only looks good in my browser. haha! thank you for your input!

I remember you! You were the girl with the really cool navbar where you had image mapped coloured text. Obscure, random moment over, I'm using FF and yes, stuff is somewhat misaligned, but it really doesn't look as unworkable as you had forewarned. I'm not seeing the light pink, but it's functioning. I don't love it as much as I loved that other layout (I'm hoping it was you who authored that layout I'm thinking of - I just remember your myspace URL) but like Toya said, it's a good concept. Maybe when you get your PC back you could execute this idea better.
