Death of Parents, ...=( Options

I started this topic because my Mother died 10 years ago to this day. June 4th. I dont think you can call it a "relationship" anymore since she has passed. I dont know how to deal with it. Imagine.... your Mom or Dad gone. How would you handle it? What would be different? Think about it all... just thought I would ask for views on how you would feel and maybe some comfort is what Iam looking for... but I do not want people feeling sorry for me.. it wasint my fault.. I do miss her.

*sigh* That's life. At some point, you just gotta say goodbye. But you just got to overcome it. Because it's life. If you spent too much time crying over it, you're just waiting your time. Coz time doesn't stop, it doesn't wait for anyone.

If my dad or mom died, I guess I'll actually feel sad. Coz they've been with me for 15 years. But I don't think I will show my grieve. I'm just the kinda person who bottles up everything inside. I'll suffer but no one will be able to tell. It'll just look like I'm moving on.

im very sorry to hear about your mom.. i would juss die if one of my parents die... excessily my dad... he is the world to me.. if i lose him i would be very devastated.. same for my mom.. i wish my parents could live forever!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. It must be tough. The same thing happened with my uncle who I saw as a father figure...his kids were just speechless. It's really sad, that's life though. I mean, it just makes you stronger, because you've passed through a lot. That sucks. I mean, I'm trying to put myself in your shoes. I would feel really sad, and it hurts, but then, you know she's at a better place. She still watches over you, and she's still with you, although she's not visible. Hope the pain seizes away...*hug*

awww im sooooo srry about that. well i neva lost a parent but if i did i'd probably cry nonstop till i cant cry n e more. but yea i kinda now how u feel cuz mai auntie has cancer n onli has a few more weeks to live

I don't give my parents enough credit for just being here for me, I have some friends who's parents have passed away and I never know the right thing to say to them. It must be devastating. My mom is the world to me, I need her advice constantly, even though sometimes I say I hate her I know I don't mean it. I'm sorry for you loss..

wow .. i'm naturally spoiled because i still have both of my parents .. and i'm very glad .. i remind myself everyday about how lucky i am to have them both .. because they could be gone in an instant .. i can't even begin to imagine how life would be like without either one of them .. i wouldn't be the person i am today .. nor would my childhood be as memorable as it is ..
