i want to partition my hard-drive (which i have done).... so i wanted to ask which linux is the best and also can some provide me with the link.. pliz |

depends on what application your using it for, no one distro is the best. I would use Mandrake for n00bs, but for more experienced users try Gentoo.

If you only have 160mb of space, chances are your computer will run out of memory before you finish installation.

i suggest the live eval of knoppix for now, since you're new to linux. once you get familiar with KDE, move on to Mandrake, Redhat or Debian. And maybe, if you grow tired of linux and you become 1337, you can try BSD.

I would suggues Mandrake because it looks pretty good and customizeable.
