Hairspray FTW. Spray it on before you curl and spray it on afterward.

What do you mean by curly hair-style? If you want curly hair all you have to do is put it in rollers.

Well, the ceramic iron might damage your hair. The heated rag rollers would be....hm, less damaging. But I just use the ceramic curlers.

I would think that the heated rag rollers would give you a softer look because it's....well, I don't really know how to explain what I mean.

I'd go for the ones with the velvet on them. They're gentle on your hair (so you can use them often) but they still heat well. They keep your hair soft.

You type funny. =]

Take a shower, braid your hair, then sleep. JK. Although it works for me. But it's more wavy than curly, so I dunno. I like straight hair.

^No, I don't think your hair really goes under fashion. Its mostly a girl problem from what I can tell so it can stay here. Although I can see where you may think it belongs there since there is a topic similar to this in there. wink.gif

Anyway, the best thing you could probably do is take a shower the night before and put curlers in your hair and sleep with them in your hair. Also in the morning style it the way you want and make sure to put some hair spray in as well. Also you could possibly use some shampoo thats out now that is made to make your hair curly, just look at some shampoo's to see what is going to work best.

If you already have wavy hair, take mousse/gel (designed for curls) and scrunch it into your hair when it's wet. It'll stay and it'll be curly aaaaand it takes like 5 minutes.

If you have straight hair like me, I curl my hair & then I mousse it. Hairspray doesn't really help me so much and it makes my hair look too flat and unnatural ermm.gif I go with mousse because it keeps the curls intact while still allowing movement (so your hair isn't like stiff).

mousse is more designed for curls, hairspray for styling....or you could do both! lol
