1/6/06: In the wake of the rainfall, areas from Boston, New York, and Albany, southward through Washington, DC and Baltimore, will see afternoon high temperatures near or exceeding record levels as readings soar into the upper 60s and lower 70s.

It's really nice here. It didn't snow for Christmas but back in October we had quite a bit of snow, but still very little for WI. It was so nice when it was getting into the 40's and the sun was out. It does feel like spring... besides the fact that the plants aren't blooming.

It's actually kind of warm here in Mississippi. It's just a little cool, it's not so cool to the point where you'd have to have a fleece or coat.

A bit chilly today but nothing like normal January weather and I live in Toronto, Canada.

2007 is going to be as hot as or hotter than 1998, which is the hottest year on record... mellow.gif

Yeah, I live in the D.C area.. and It's colder in California. Somethings not right with this picture. I blame it on global warming, but that's just my opinion. biggrin.gif

You know what I think is weird, the Mayan's have this theory that the world will come to the end in 2012. That's not to far from now, and stating the fact that we are having trouble with global warming, I think it's weird how their estimate date is very close to the time where global warming could cause the world to come to an end.

Haha, yeah. It was really nice weather for hanging out with my friend yesterday.

It is not because of global warming. At least, not entirely. This nicer-than-usual weather is because of El Nino, which brings in warmer water from the ocean and therefore warmer winds and temperatures... -.-;;
