Great! That's great for a first time! I like the whole design. The brushes are my favorite part. It's simple, yet pretty.
 Nice job for your first try. Keep making more until you get better and better!

It's great for your first try. I think you should adjust the height and width content space so that it fits the box that you made on the image. I also don't like the rainbow colors on the the gray div. Your navigation is also misaligned on my screen. I use 1280x800.

thanks! yeah i made it in adobe!
what bushes should i think i should do nexT? and also i want a nav that is intrative. just havent found out how to do that. the rainbow is there for a porpuse |

You can visit other people's myspaces to get an idea of how you want your navigation to look. Oh, and you can find a bunch of sites for photoshop brushes, just use the Big Book of Resources. You'll have a wide variety of brushes to choose from.

I think you should have made the backround BACKROUND color the same color as your whole image. It's simple yet basic, needs more content though. Overall, rather nice for your first.
