It was something my Grand uncle prepared once while I was working in his restaurant as a kitchen helper. It consisted of rice (previously fried), ham, asparagus, olives and some brown sauce I never managed to guess the composition of. D:
The dish was a sort of brownish blob with red dices and green things pointing out of it. The whole thing smelled of mushrooms, but somehow it tasted like arroz con leche does. >.< |

^That is considered a sin in my book. What did turtles ever do to you except lose races to Bugs Bunny? Anyways, water beatles. I was in Cambodia and a friend bought a whole bag. I ate a couple despite the fact it had that raid roach smell.

honestly, first time i had sushi - it sort of scared me.
also, pickled herring is extremely creepy. we have a can of unopened frog legs in our garage. absolutely disgusting. i'm pretty sure my mom's just keeping them so we can laugh at the can... |
