1. Skirts with leggings
I've learned that some people can pull this one off and others can't. What I really dislike is when girls wear leggings as pants basically and wear and large skinny shirt. Leggings with a skirt - not one of my favorite trends but it's not horrible.

2. Ugg boots with North Face fleece
I love my Northface. I will never understand Uggs.

3. Vans slip-ons and Converse
They're not that bad-either one of them. Apparently, people at my school like to wear converse with skinny jeans. Converse make your feet look bigger than they are right? Hm.

4. Skinny jeans
I've seen some people pull these off wonderfully. Others not so much. I wear them occasionally but don't feel that comfortable in them. I have a feeling they're not going to be around for a very long time though.

5. Bootcut jeans with flats or moccasins (sp?)
Basically, the only things I wear are bootcut jeans with flats. I love it.

6. Clothes that are way too big for shrimpy boys
Hahahaha.

7. Crocs

What are some of the latest trends in your area and what are your opinions about it? Do you love it, like it, hate it, like it but know you'll never "rock it"?

1. skirts with leggings
I personally think that was a fall 2006 type of thing but I hate seeing girls with it in the winter. Come on now, it's winter and it's seriously not skirt weather. I also hate seeing girls with stretched out leggings and skirts from Aeropostale.

2. Ugg boots with North Face fleece
I hate how North Face fleeces are becoming the new trend, like oh hey it's 100 dollars maybe i will get it and maybe i can finally get some friends. In some cases it could be that they're warm but for 100 dollars I'm sure you can get two of the same thing but of a different brand. I think Ugg boots were really 2002 (Gilmore Girls) and I think that people should just get over them and wear something different.

3. Vans slip-ons and converse
I feel like everywhere I see are converse and Vans slip-ons along with jeans that are too long for them, which results in tattered openings of jeans. I mean, I personally love converse but it's kind of irritating to see 12-year olds with them with bangs in front of their faces.

4. Skinny jeans
I've never tried on a pair of skinny jeans before, and I don't think I'd look good in them. I think skinny jeans are kind of old-fashioned and it's really not that appealing on some fat chick with "skinny" jeans that are way too fat. Let's just call them "fat jeans"

5. Bootcut jeans with flats or moccasins (sp?)
I like it, but I don't think I'd look good in flats. It just doesn't seem like a Jenny thing.

6. Clothes that are way too big for shrimpy boys
wow, just no. i mean, i really wish someone could explain to me why people need 5xl shirts that can be used as dresses

7. crocs
even if they are comfortable, they are UGLY. i know this girl who had a summer-job selling these things. they're not even that comfortable and the holes make it look more tacky.

i can't really think of any other ones that are irksome but if i run into any more i will keep it posted

4. Skinny Jeans depending on the way you wear them. I think skinny jeans with a nice pair of pumps. Definitely the 'punk' look with the skinny jeans are overdone by the preppy dietcore kids.

yeah, everyone here is like "OMG VANSSSSS" but they usually wear their skinny jeans with flats. i`m the only one still stuck on converse probably because no one wears them here anymore. i wear my converse with skinny jeans & sometimes legwarmers. idk but that`s my style. i guess as soon as i see someone doing that i`ll do something else.

vans are beatting converse. once again, vans are getting way over populated, and if you dont look good in them, dont wear em but i haven't seen one person who doesn't look nice in vans. converse.. they're not that over populated, and not much people wear them, since they're jumping for them vans. i really actually like converse.

haha some people can seriously rock these, others can not. it's not that over played, which makes other people want to do it as well. but i think it looks very nice.

Eghhh. I think this trend lasted about a month & then just died. And personally, I don't like it.

I actually like my slip-on Vans. They go with everything & are really comfortable.

I think you have to have the right figure for skinny jeans. I have a pair & I love them. They go great with everything.

a lot of epopel go by these trends and half of them dont look good with any of these. it depends on their body also.
some of these trends are over rated. people over use them. a lot. in my school.

They are only good for certain body types. Fat thighs and short legs would just kill the look. And, I don't like seeing them in the winter too.

They are good with jeans, but only if you are tall. People with shorter legs should wear boots with heels.

They are becoming too popular, but they match with everything and they aren't overpriced (unless you buy the special edition ones).

I have always hated them, they are hard to put on and they are just too tight for me.

Skirts with Leggings, personally I never thought it looked all that comfortable or did it look right. Its makes peoples legs looks bigger than what they are

Ugg Boots - They've always been ugly in my book.

Vans, I've always worn vans. So when it came into being a trend I was a bit upset. But I still wear vans and always will more than likely. I think coverses went down the tubes though, they really did seem like a huge trend, because I never saw anyone wear them and then it was like a big bang and ton of people wore them. Their a lot more popular here than vans ever have been though.

Skinny Jeans - I've always loved the store Gap, but when they started selling the skinny jeans I couldn't really shop there anymore because I don't like the feeling of skinny jeans. Also when fat girls wear them its not that great to turn your head and see, although on some people I suppose it looks fine on. But eventually this trend is going to fade out quick.

Jeans with flats - I've always loved my flats, I don't wear them with those types of jeans though. I just wear them with any oridinary pair of jeans.

and lastly.

Crocs - I see them a lot more in the hospital and I think their pretty appropriate (sp) for it. But when you start to see people wearing them around in school and stuff I find it a little weird, easpecially when they start to complain constantly about their feet being cold.

Converse with legwarmers sounds really cute. Legwarmers haven't become a trend here..yet, but converse definitely have.
& it doesn't have to be that way! it's your style even if it's replicated 3042304 times. it's what you like. you shouldn't have to change because another girl likes yout style!
