I know about how to make layouts and am good at reading html and css, but man I cant photoshop for shit! How in the world do you do this? Is there a way to make any picture look like this because I would really love to know how!

That particular piece looks like renders overlayed with brushes and patterns. I'd suggest looking at some of the "tech-y" tutorials, because they'll show you some of the basic techniques for something like that.
[ http://good-tutorials.com/search/query/tech ] In general, just looking at tutorials and slowly getting comfortable with your program helps you improve. That and looking at the designs of other people and grabbing an idea or two from them to develop your own unique style. That helps a lot. |
