WHAT IS LOVE?? How do we knew if it's love? How do we know if it's just some kindd of infatuation? Love is as scary thing to some people. Even the word can make anyone run because along with LOVE comes HURT. no one ever wants to get hurt. That alone will make anyone flat out run. Love is what we searched for all our lives. For someone to have and to hold and for someone to love. A someone who makes us complete. A someone who can make us whole an individual. Just being close to that someone. To know that they are right there every minute of every day. to be able to touch their face, and hear their heartbeat. to be soothed by their voice, to hold them close, smell their scent and taste their skin, to be able to look into their eyes and see everything i feel for them be reflected back at me. Having someone to love and knowing that someone loves you back That is the most beautiful place in the world to be. So, What is love??..... LOVE comes in every shape an form. LOVE lies in the eyes of the beholder LOVE is what ever you want it to be. LOVE is LOVE.

that was a lovely description that i gave up reading on the fourth sentence... whistling.gif

i think you have just answered your own question except that love is not suppose to hurt or make you cry and when you are in love you will feel it and you will know. _smile.gif

I agree that love comes with hurt because it's truly ridiculous to believe that there is someone out there who will never, ever hurt you. Come on, grow out of that fantasy. I'm not saying that it should hurt physically because that is definitely not love, I'm just saying that nothing is perfect. People will get hurt whether or not the pain was intended. No one is a mind reader and no one knows anyone wholly.

hey i like fantasies!! sad.gif

i should edit that love is not suppose to hurt to point that you are hurting if your significant other is cheating on he/her and try to get back with them but they humilate and he/her are crying over someone who does not care or love. of course you are going to experience emotional pain but not the pain that you are mourning over someone who does not show respect or love to their significant other because i think we can agree that its not worth crying or hurting over someone that isnt showing the same love back? _smile.gif

You'll know what love is when you experience it. It can't be easily described.

what you said there is basically my definition of love...in a nutshell. just feeling like with that person you are complete.

Love is like a trap. You don't know it's there, and when you get caught in it, it's extremely hard to get out of. My advice is, look for said trap and get caught. It's awesome.

I don't think love is when you go to sleep at night because you can't stop thinking about him/her, that is affection
I don't think love is when you think you're "in love" but you actually are in love of what he/she looks like, that's lusting.
I don't think love is when you're together, you feel a conection and then say something about it later, that's fondness.
I don't think love is when you say you love him but get over him in a week or so, that's a crush.
I don't think love is when you're heartbeat beats faster when he walks in the room, or when he holds your hand, or when you want to hear him speak that's infatuation.
I think love is when he actually puts that ring on your finger, or he makes a commitment to you saying that he will actually try his best for you guys to stay together.

what do you think? ermm.gif

I don't think there is a real definition for love, it's just something that's uncomparable.

That could be bribery, too. rolleyes.gif Just kidding.

Everyone has a different definition for love, but I think it's something along the lines of: accepting someone not just as a person in general, but accepting them as a human being in every aspect of life, no matter how amazingly great or horrible they are at doing something, you love them regardless. Regardless of their past mistakes and faults, you love them because of how they make you feel, and vice versa. Loving someone because of all their bad and good qualities, no matter the extremities, because it's what makes them who they are as a person. Love is putting someone before yourself, and them doing the same. It's a give and take relationship which requires a much needed balance taken care of with respect, care, tenderness, and thought.

When you can't bare the thought of them being hurt or upset and would do anything in the world possible, to make it all okay again. Sticking together and having each other there through the bad and the worst, because love isn't perfect. And being held safely in their arms when things couldn't be better.

When you know all their little subconscious habbits or characteristics and their deepest dark secrets. When you know they're truly happy to when they're just faking a smile to get through the day, and you know something is wrong and you want to sincerely help them through it.

No matter what others say or think, nothing can take you two from each other, when you're both determined to be together for as long as you can imagine. It's when you're willing to share and give your thoughts, mind, heart, soul, and body, and them respecting you enough to really love you, not just for sex. Sort of a..it's us against the world, kind of thing.

mellow.gif I'm done.

yeah, it's different for everyone.

but love can be anything that you make it, and it's obviously between you and that person. it's almost like no one can ever begin to know how it is-even if you tell them. it's just that amazing. happy.gif

love is just a word it holds no expressions, no feelings, and over used. Wat is love its something u can't define no way to explain... u'll know when the time is rite and the person ur with is that special person for u. If you wanna show someone wat is love, prove it... dun say it. cuz its just another word.

~bites ring on finger~

I've been pondering that for the longest time.
I understand the love between family members..
I understand the love I have for my friends..

But how do you know when it's right to tell a person,
like between a guy and a gal.. "I love you?" _dry.gif

Infatuation? Crush? Love?
How do you know? Trial and error?
Do you just know when it is or happens?

It's so frusterating I just give up trying to find a right time
to try to mean it when using that word with relationships. pinch.gif

^ dun worry most of my friends are like that dun look for it, it'll come to u... and yes ppl do use the word"love" wayy to much without knowing the meaning of it at all. Alot of the guys think by saying "i love you" it'll get them laid or something, people needs to learn wat the meaning of a real relationship is... sigh...

^ laugh.gif Thank you. I hope it does come to me eventually
as well as to anyone else including your friends that are searching for it!

It's a difficult subject for me even though I
seemingly have a lot to say about relationships around createblog .
I don't exactly understand it completely and rather not
look like one of the kiddies that tarnish
the word by using it on every guy I crush on.

I think love is a precious word,
I cherish the word as much as I do for the word hate.

I don't want to be that bride telling the groom
"You're the 37th guy I told this to,
but trust me when I say I love you."
