Are they biting you in the butt? -_-;

I've been working to get in study guides and just study in general, but I'm a procrastinator. I hope I can get most of them done today.

How many of you have yours coming up in the next week?

I don't have them until the end of January. It used to suck because my birthday is Jan. 25th, and my birthday would always be on a day when we had finals. But I think this might be the first year that it's not because I think finals are the 20, 23, and 24.

My finals are in mid-January..
I'm especially worried about my English finals because I've only read 4 of the required books (out of 8). pinch.gif And I just started reading the first book of The Odyssey (I have to read all 24)..
And Spanish, definitely. I need to be tutored.

Gosh, tomorrow I take 1/2 of my mid-terms, and my teachers are loading us with study guides and crap we have to finish. >_<

Finals have pretty much raped me of my sanity already, and I still have 2 more to go, and don't know most grades.

^ Ahhh I know the feeling. Me and my entire class (except for two people) failed literature/english, and probably geometry too.

Good luck with the other two... lol.

Mine aren't until mid-January. I'm really crapping my pants about my geometry final. My school is letting the Renaissance kids waive a final, so I'm thinking about waiving part of my English final. I think it's the only class that's going to let me.

Pfft. I'm done with midterms. (FINALLY) And I must say, I didn't do too shabby (with the amount of studying I did, or lack thereof):

English - 88 (Hey, PreAP English = killer. Plus, I went from failing to a B for my semester average. :D)
IPC - 86 (Okay, I'm pissed about this, considering every single one of our exam questions was straight off our review.)
Journalism - 92
Spanish - 98 (I should have gotten a 100.)
Theatre - 92

I haven't gotten my Algebra or Geography grades back yet. I guess they'll come with the report cards. :/

I wish they let you get out taking the finals if you had a 98 average or higher... a lot of my friends that go to different schools get to do that. My finals are going to SUCK. Most of my teachers aren't even giving out study guides... they're just telling you to go over you old homework and tests. That would take forever!

How are your guys' midterms going? So far, I've had three. They all seemed to have gone well, but the last one I had...oi...there was so much to do! I knew how to do all of it, but there were a million things on it. Some of them were so time-consuming...

pinch.gif

Anyways, what midterms are you dreading and what midterms do you know you'll do well on?

Ugh, I'm somewhat up-set.

My English Lit teacher has been gone all week and she came back today. Our final for that class is supposed to be on Tuesday. Instead she decides she wants us to do it tomorrow in class. That would be fine... except she gave us what we need to know today. I have to memorize 40 words/definitions by tommorrow! It's not fair!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so get this... My school is retarded, but it works to my advantage. Basically if we passed all our standarized tests for the state, we got to exempt those finals for those classes. I passed them all because they're like, moron tests (seriously like...first grade level or something) so I didn't have to take pre-cal, english, u.s. history OR physics midterms. :)

I did so horribly. I'm getting the grades and my report card on Thursday. pinch.gif
The only ones that I did well on are probably Global and Bio. The others are probably 80's. sad.gif
