I downloaded a really cute layout from this site; it's of Kairi and Sora from KH2 and it's titled Paopu Love. It took me a while to figure out how to get my friends' pictures to show up instead of the "no picture" images, but now I'm onto a few new problems that I can't seem to fix.

First off, I want to change the text up so that it isn't all caps and I'd also like to change the main text color from the pink (it's hard to read) to something a little darker. Also, I noticed that when I bold a word it shows up as black text over a white background.. and I'd like to remove the white background and change the color to match the rest of the text.

Second, I wanted to somehow add a code for my comments to appear on the page, but I don't know where/how to do that.

I've linked the download page for this layout here. I think most of this editting would be done in the "About Me" section, but of course that's the most confusing area for me. Any help would be really appreciated, guys.

The creator said that he/she doesn't want anyone messing with the overlay image, and that isn't my intention. I just mainly want to edit text appearance and bring back my comments box. I full intend on still giving the creator all of the credit he/she deserves.

OH! One more thing! I noticed that when my friends are scrolling, the box they are in has a white background as opposed to the transparent background the rest of the boxes have, and also the pictures are not centered. Can I possibly fix that?

THANKS SO MUCH IF YOU READ ALL OF THAT AND CAN HELP!

To edit the pink/uppercased font, look for this in the coding and edit it to your liking:

QUOTE
font, td,table, body, td, li, p, div, li, h1, h2, p, br,.text{font-family: small fonts; font-size: 9px; color: FB95E0; font-weight:normal; text-decoration: none; letter-spacing: 0px; text-transform:uppercase;line-height:9px;}

To change the color, just put in a darker HEX code for it.
To make it uncapitilized, take away 'text-transform:uppercase;'

Before doing that PM the owner, did you already ask about adding the box? Maybe she misunderstood. If you have no div experience it may be hard , because you need to first unhide them by going through the script, and then you have to use the comment in a div script to do so.

The other stuff is possible, but Ricky is a nice person, so I suggest you talk to him before editing his layout in anyway. Even if its just colors. Its his so you should really try contacting him again. Or direct him to this topic.

For some reason the music on the layout has suddenly stopped playing.
I'm currently looking through the codes to see if i took something out by mistake, and so far i can't seem to find the problem.
When viewed with mozilla firefox, the background music doesn't play at all.
But when viewed with IE it does, however a media box appears at the bottom as it plays.
I'm super confused ><;

Yes, the same layout.
And people i've asked can't find anything wrong with the code.
So i don't know what to do,
and i'd rather not go through the process of finding a new layout.
espicially DIV ones @_@
