I went through dozens of layouts, contact tables extra. I managed to get the codes needed to create my own layout. With the layout codes everything is basically the same, but the contact tables are a bit different. So i found one i liked and did some altaring to it, but i did leave the creator of the code in the code.

Now i have a great layout (i think) with matching contact table. Since i have done all the altaring to these codes would it be considered a creation from me? Like i said before i left the creator of the contact table in the code so he/she would get credit. But the images and background is what i put togehter and created.

Can i also upload and share this layout with others? If so how do i go about doing it and exactly what needs to be uploaded.

Thanks, Lisa

Ok even though you leave the creators name in the code, you still need to ask for their permission, before you altar their layout. Even if you left their name in they are still going to consider it jocking. So I suggest you pm any person that you got the code from first before anyone trys to help you out.

Also we have enough tutorials here for you to come up with your own layout anyway.

So the answer to the question, no you can't upload and share it yet. You need to pm the creator. Ask for their permission. Then if they say yes in the layout and in the comment section you need to say that the code was originally from them and permission was granted. If they say yes then you can. But I highly suggest you do it because if you submit it, it gets accepted, and you get caught w/o permission, you will be warned for jocking.
