okay everytime i try to type or click the text thing in GIMP it froze and this pop up pop up saying it encounter a problem & i have to close it then it automatically close my GIMP can someone help me plz

No problem, what version are you using? According to that thread one of the versions can be rather unstable. I also suggest you unninstalling and then redownloading and installing again.
But I'll keep looking if that doesn't solve it at all. |

I used to have the same problem when i used GIMP. Try uninstalling both GIMP and the GTK+ thing and replacing them with an older version of both. It worked for me.

im using GIMP 2.2.11 is that the unstable one? if so which version do you recommend? okay i reinstall it but it still have the same problem
