My latin teacher is german but he speaks fluent latin and I think it's really cool. Would you ever want to teach German?

Latin? Woah, thats pretty cool. I hear speaking latin can be pretty helpful when it comes to taking SAT's over the vocabulary section.

Hmm, thats always a possibility! _smile.gif

I know this is off topic, but chicken flavored gum? sick.gif

I wouldn't worry all that much, since I know colleges also take into account what programs your school offers when they're looking at your grades and what oppurtunities you've taken.

So do you mean that since I'm taking everything that I could possibly take that my school offers, they'll realize that? And have mercy? lol. _unsure.gif

It is. Modeling doesn't really pay off unless you make it to the top. And it's pretty hard to make it up there.

Same thing if you want to be an actor, photographer, or artist.

Are you saying there's a chance?!

yeah I know it's a rare one. I want to be a professional musician and go to Julliards and all. I don't want to be a lawyer or a teacher or some shit. I don't have the patience for those jobs.

I need to learn how to update. _dry.gif And yes, they'll have mercy. I wouldn't depend solely on that, but if they see that you're trying really, really hard, then you've def. got a chance.

^ That was my former major but I changed it because I found out I hated it so much.

Classes to take are anatomy, especially of the head and ear. Trust me, you will need this class. If you can get into a basic sign language class that will be helpful too. A class I most highly recommend is Linguistics, this deals with the scientific study of language.

For further info, check out this site. http://www.asha.org/default.htm

I'd really like to work in the medical field, but my science is not strong enough, in my opinion. It's probably my worst subject. However, I was thinking of being a Nutritionist, because it only requires a bachelor's degree and it is more food chemistry based rather than, let's say, physics _dry.gif

However, I also have an interest for being a teacher. With my passion for music, I was thinking of becoming a Music Teacher, which would require a music major of some sort. Music is more so skill-based than memorization, like most subjects, which I'm not sure I can do. Tapping into my heritage, I also want to be a Foreign Language Teacher (Mandarin), since I really want to be more fluent in the language. Also, being a teacher would allow me to utilize the language on a daily basis so I won't forget it again. pinch.gif

Anyways, I'm a sophomore... so I do have some time to think, but not a whole lot.

You don't necessarily need to know what you want in life to know what you want to be. Maybe a leap year is good for you. I'm not sure if "leap year" is the right phrase for it, but it means taking a break for a year before college to really find what's right for you. That could be through internships, travel, etc. Of course, you have to make something out of that year instead of just procrastinating.
