Well, I have bangs like that, but I cut it straight and when it grew longer I pushed it to the side. You can cut it straight and then when you blowdry, you do it so it will stay on the side. If you cut it in an angle, it'll probably turn out in one of those emo/scene cuts. *shrug*

I think you should wait until someone else replies, though [other than me].

Go to a hairstylist. Probably bring a picture? Trust me. My friend tried to cut her own hair, and it turned out like shit.

Your best bet would be to go to a professional stylist like showstopper! said, because they know what they're doing. Bring them a photo so they know exactly what you want.

You don't want to cut your bangs too blunt, or you won't get the effect you desire. Try a more layered bang. You can cut them straight so you have some options to choose from: a straight bang, or one swept to the side.

If you want it swept to the side like in those pictures, then try blow-drying it that way so that it'll stay. But for the most part, just blow drying them normally and pushing them aside will work.

^agreed.
i think this hairstyle has a lot more to do with how you style your bangs rather than how you cut it. i'd advise against cutting your hair yourself; bangs can be tricky.

I agree with the rest. hahaha^^
Maybe cutting your own bangs isn't the smartest thing, but it's cheaper.

i agree with cassie.

go to a PROFESSIONAL stylist & show them a picture of how you want it.

dont go to those crappy cheap stylists who just f/ck up your hair.

^Agree.
I tried doing it myself and somehow ended up with tapered bangs, which aren't that bad, but still you get the picture.

they're 'side swept bangs', and it's not just styling it actually does involve a cut.... go to a hairstylist, they'll show you

LOL...I used to cut my own bangs all the time when I was in High School (Class of 06) At 1st I totally suxed @ it but I got the hang of it after the 3rd-4th try(my hair grows fast..about 2 inches a month so I used to have to cut alot) but its soo time consuming! Took me like an hr when pros can do it in like 5 minutes. Only reason I stopped is cuz I cut my hair boy short hehe...(my hair is half way to my elbow & its barely been a year since the boy cut) Just go with the other's advice & go get it done by a pro...unless your hair grows fast like mine then I guess try again whatever

I have that. Don't do it yourself unless you're sure of your skills, cause it will be bad. Very bad. Anyway, you need to get them cut straight, so they hit the bridge of your nose. Right below your eyes. If it's any shorter, it'll look weird to the side. Then when you're styling your hair, part it to the side and sweep your bangs to the opposite side.

Yeah, what they said. I want bangs like that but since my hair is naturally curly I know it might look wierd whenever I don't straighten it.

Take a ton of pictures of the hair style you want and at different angles, and take it to a real hairstylist. Its not that much to get your hair cut, atleast not here...

-shrugs- Usually if you take pictures and then they'll ask a few questions and get an idea of how to put it to you and change it a bit perhaps and thats it. Atleast thats what I do, and my turn out fine.

If you don't know how to do it yourself, you should definitely just go to a hairstylist to do it for you, because if you mess up there's no fixing it really.

They're just long straight bangs that are blow-dried to the side.
& your hair would need to be side parted.
