Okay last week you know after I came out of school 10 minutes late, I was chilling near this apartment waiting for my mom to pick me up (10-15 min). I kept getting eye contacts from people walking past me, and I didn't feel too comfortable. Okay and these two old grandpas come up to me shouting like "What are you doing here? Are you waiting for someone?" and yeah I was like "Yes I'm waitin for ma mom to pick me up" .. and they're like "your not supposed to be here" .. they were looking at me in not a happy way amost. I was like WTF? Oh god .. and they kept asking personal questions, "Why are you putting your hands in your pocket? Watcha got there?" .. and I'm like "uhmm .. a pack of starburst and candy" .. and they ask all these personal questions like they're the cops or somethin .. and THEY ACTUALLY CALL THE COPS because they were suspicious about me, when I haven't done anything wrong. I mean is it because I'm one of the asians that fill 3% of the asians in the town and they think I'm a bad guy? smh .. so I just ran away and finally my mom came, and I got out of that bitch area. f**k this town, why does my life have to be like this and why do people cause problems that has to do with me, when I haven't done anything f**king wrong?! this is why I get stressed out, i am f**king innocent and haven't done anything wrong. why do people that don't even know me see me as the devil ..

Shut the f**k up, you are wrong. I am mad about this right now, matta fact I get mad when I think about it every minute. It isn't because they are old. A lot of people in this town is suspicious about me. I know it. Before where I used to live, problems like this did not happen. I mean RAREEEEEELY. You rarely see a asian kid walking around here. I'm even afraid to go buy a sandwich from the deli (10 min away from my house), cuz people would come up to me and cops would stop me for no f**king reason. They judge books by covers.

Depends on what town you live in, but people have to be careful these days especially if you were in a place you shouldn't have been. Maybe they bust a lot of drug deals or had violence problems around there. They shouldn't have harassed you like that, but I seriously doubt they thought "Hey look, an Asian. Let's go harass him." They were probably trying to get you out of there. Older people have problems with younger kids because most of the time, it's younger people who are causing all the trouble. I stress most of the time, not always.

Cursing around old people's generally not recommended. And I'm certainly not saying I approve of their actions in any way shape or form, but if they actually are racist, pretending to be black is likely a very bad idea.

Curfew in my city is 11 for anyone under 18 because of all the gang fights/killings/drug shit going on, so ANYBODY gets stopped, not just certain races past certain times of the night.

That's why I said it depends on what kind of town you live in and I used the word maybe. Read next time. Either way, my point holds true. You were somewhere you shouldn't have been and a lot of older people assume that any young kids are up to no good. If your town is a shy "quiet ass" town, that's all the more reason for them to suspect. I doubt they want little drug dealers running around and spoiling their quiet town. It has nothing to do with racism. That's a fact of life. Get used to it.

1:00 AM? Uh, there's a thing called a curfew. Why don't you Wikipedia that? There's especially one for children under a certain age. Around here, you can't walk around out in the streets past 11:00 PM or the cops will come up and ask you what you're up to. It's like that with every town/city. But, of course, the cops are racist. That's why they stopped you.

My advice for you is get off your little racism trip and quit being so close minded. Not everyone is out to get you because your Asian. That's the most ignorant thing I've ever heard.

Ok first of all, I'm not a "wannabe gangsta". Second of all, I've been to other towns in New Jersey that's way bigger with more population, and when it was like 1:30 AM, I've seen teens chilling around. I could care less though? Since those towns have a big population, wouldn't the town be more strict with the laws/rules? But people don't obey them .. and they don't do anything. It's a free country. How do you know we're going to do something bad? Okay you see a 15 year old teenager 1:00 AM walking around here. No matter what race, but since you rarely see a asian, african, or hispanic-american here, chances are YOU'LL NEVER REALLY SEE THEM hanging around here .. but me? i'm asian.
