C'mon now....

Your defense is basically claiming a heterosexual choice and a health problem with homosexuals and the fact that they cannot produce naturally even if they wanted a family and were healthy.

Sorry I need a better arguement than that.

Trust me... I'm not trying to disrespect but debating this with me is not a good idea, my favorite subjects are history, science, metaphysics, philosophy, and literature There's more subjects that I favor but I'm just givin you a hint that it's pointless to debate this topic with me.

I have no problem with it at all. I'm bisexual, so it'd be hypocritical if I did. I'm kind of annoyed by really flamboyant gay men though. Then they complain that they get treated differently. Well, maybe if you acted like a man, people would treat you like one.

they shouldn't have to act like a man to be treated well.

Some of the guys I feel most comfortable around are flamboyant (and not all of them are gay. ;) Flamboyant doesn't always indicate homosexuality).

And no, I do not think that anyone's sexual preference is "wrong." Give me a break.

homosexuality, i think, is kinda gross. BUT, its still doesn't make anyone any less of a person. To discriminate aganist homosexuals using the Bible or for any other reason, really. . .is the same as doing it to black, hispanics or even whites. It's just dumb.

I still don't condone it. But, if ya do it, i won't hold it against you ;)

i was brought up being told homosexuality is wrong.
but when my sister came out to me as a lesbian, i had to start reconsidering things.
i am a strong christian. but i'm struggling with whether or not it is right.
i love my sister no matter what and will always support her.
i just have to decide whether i agree with her choices.
whether or not you agree with homosexuality, YOU MUST LOVE THEM.
they are still people. they are not animals. they do not deserve to be treated badly. they must be respected, supported, and loved - just like anyone else.

I'm glad you're respectful, and you realize that we're people who deserve that. I wish everyone could see that.
but there was one line in that that bothered me.

Its not a choice. People need to understand that. In fact, many people, if given the choice, would not be gay/lesbian/bisexual/transsexual.
For so long, I would have given anything to be straight. Now I'm more comfortable, and I wouldnt have it any other way.

People don't choose to be gay anymore than a white person chooses to be white, a black person chooses to be black, a tall person chooses to be tall, or a short person chooses to be short.

and that's why we deserve to be treated with respect. We deserve to be treated in the same way you'd treat everyone else. because its not a choice, its just who we are.

Discriminating against gays is just as bad as discriminated against any other minority.

Most people dont go around calling people niggers.
that would be racist. that would be wrong.
but people have no problem calling other people fags or dykes.

how is it so much better to discriminate against gays?

it's more the fact that, i don't know whether i completely agree with homosexuality - i'm not saying it is something you choose, or isn't.

Is it wrong for me to say who cares if you (anyone) thinks it's okay or not?
For example, when people say "gay marriage should be banned." If you're not gay, and you're not getting married, then *why* does it matter to you anyways?
If you're not gay, who are you to judge someone else's life? I just think it's ridiculous. Why do people think their opinions *really* matter on other people?
Also, I just want to add, does anyone else remember the civil rights movement back in the 60s? Isn't this kind of the same thing? I'm sure the way this country is going, we'll have gay water fountains and gay bathrooms with all the hate-mongers running this country. What a shame that certain people are denied their liberties because other people are *so* worried about their business.
This isn't high school.
This isn't a popularity contest.
That's all I have to say.

I completely agree; that IS disgusting. What is that supposed to mean? That we will endorse lesbian action so men can masturbate to girls messing around with each other for money, but discriminate against gay men who actually love each other? (I realize that there are lesbians who are truly in love as well. ^_^)

Homosexuality, imo, is perfectly fine with me.

i don't believe anyone should be judged by their sexuality. some people be it male or female are attracted to the same sex. i think that if you love some one no matter what then nothin' else should matter.

well, i am gay. and i think that people just need to open their minds. everyone is different. if a girl wants to be a butch, or a guy wants to be girly, let them be. i'm not feminine, but i have friends who are. USUALLY, gay guys are just naturally flamboyant, but some do it for show. i'm not overly flamboyant.

i used to consider myself christian. and in the bible it specifically says to not isolate anyone no matter what sin they may commit. so as far as i'm concerned, i deserve to be accepted just as much as everyone else. everyone sins. period. even though now i consider myself egnostic because i don't believe in church.

i don't believe anyone in this world has the right to judge me or anyone else. we are who we are for a reason. being gay isn't a choice because the choice was made for me anyways. i never decided i was gonna like dudes, it just happened that way. i literally cannot find love in girls.

Being gay is as natural as breathing air for me. I always get asked how I do it. How do I stand all the talking behind my back and all the backstabbing and mocking from other kids. Honestly, I look at straight people and I think all of that is wierd. I really do. It makes no sense to me but then again....neither does paid programming....

I find nothing wrong with people being gay.

You cannot change what you feel about certain things.
