The 13th and final book for "Series of Unfortunate Events" came out yesterday!
Just bought it today, haven't started reading it yet, but can't wait!
Entitled "The End". Love it, haha

Who else is going to read this book or is excited about it?

Here is the back cover:

QUOTE
Dear Reader,

You are presumably looking at the back of this book, or
the end of THE END. The end of THE END is the best
place to being THE END, because if you read THE END
from the beginning of the beginning of THE END to the
end of the end of THE END, you will arrive at the end of
the end of your rope.

This book is the last in A Series of Unfortunate
Events, and even if you braved the previous twelve
volumes, you probably can't stand such unpleasantries as a
fearsome strom, a suspicious beard, a heard of wild
sheep, an enormous bird cage, and a truly haunting secret
about the Baudelaire parents.

It has been my solem occupation to complete the
history of the Baudelaire orphans, and at last I am finished.
You likely have some other occupation, so if I were you
I would drop this book at once, so THE END does not
finish you.

With all due respect,
Lemony Snicket.

Haha, I've only read as far as to the fourth book, but I really want to finish the whole series. Man, I've just been sooo lazy. But, I must say, I looove the back of the book. XD Lemony Snicket seems really creative. I must finish the series sometimes soon.. *pouts* And read THE END.

I COMPLETELY FORGOT. :O

*squeals with joy and runs out to buy*

I cannot WAIT to see how ASOUE ends! It's about time, haha.

Although it seems as though it would be very difficult to answer ALL of the questions that need to be answered in one book...cos, well, there is an endless amount of things we don't know, and it could go on forever. I hope The End wraps things up, though.

Yeah I know! I dunno HOW he's going to answer all these questions, cuz there are a million of them. Well the book is pretty thick, but still......it better give a good ending.
Haven't started reading yet...lol.

Hmm. I'm very interested in reading the series. But I'll find it sad if I become attached to the books, which I most likely will, as I have to Harry Potter.

I just finished a couple of days ago, after forcing myself to sit and read and not be distracted by the multiple tests I had the next day (I know, fab timing, right.)

All I have to say is, OMGOLAF!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I can see the relationship between The Beatrice Letters and The End.

Chapter Fourteen is probably the least Snicket-like ASOUE book I have ever read, though.

Ah, at last, the final book in the series.

I've always loved the way Snicket did the back covers of his books. tongue.gif

Definitely gonna go pick this one up.

Just finished reading...the ending is confusing. Someone clue me? Oh my, Ishmael I wanted to strangle him for what he did at the end.
