Alright heres the story and i need your help. My boyfriend and are having this fight or so he thinks we are. I mean hes mad at me and I dont even know why he won't look at me or talk to me. He sayd He's changed lately buht he loves me soo much. He wants to break up with me because lately i've been sad and a little depressed about things. And he thinks he did something to make me feel horrible. Which I dont know how he could think that. So he wants to break up with me because he doesnt want to see me hurt anymore. He tells our friends that and myself that he doesnt want to break up with me because he cant stand not being with me buht he cares too much about me to see me hurt. buht the thing is i've tried telling him it has nothing to do with him and that hes one of the main reasons why i wake up every morning. He's not listening to me. He's acting all emo and saying its all his fault. And i know he really cares about me because hes not one of those guys. He's one of those happy athletic smart funny always happy kinda guys. Buht now ever since I got all depressed hes changed and I feel bad for doing this to him. Maybe he would be happy again without me. I told him that buht he sayd...

Well then waht do i do because if he doesnt wanna make me sad then why would he wanna break up with me? He doesn't get that I love him so much and that I wanna be with him..Waht do i do? We were best friends before we went out. Sometimes i wonder if i shoulda have sayd yes to him i mean having him as my boyfriend i like it so much better. buht i think its ruining our friendship..-sigh- i dont know help..

This doesn't entirely make sense and he seems to be contradicting himself. He says that he wants to break up with you because he can't stand to see you sad, yet in your AIM conversation he said that he never wants to be without you. I don't get how that works. But anyway, I think you should try to work things out to stay together. If he's that great of a guy and he loves you that much, then you shouldn't break up just because you've been feeling depressed. It's not your fault you can't be happy all the time like he can. Couples should stick through these tough situations. Tell him that you will get better with time, and that you're trying the best you can for him if he will stay with you.
If you both feel like it really won't work, though, then maybe you should just take a break from the relationship until you are no longer sad.

your boyfriends an idiot. for thinking like that. in a freaking relationship the boy and girl needs to do what it takes to understand each other. breaking up isnt gonna do shit. he wants to think that. then that means hes not true to you. If he aint the reason why your moping and being depressed. tell him straight up. If he loves you then he'll do what it cans to make you happy, put a smile on your face. rather than he being negative puttin all the faul in his hands. thats stupid. your boyfriend don't think. its all the matter of understanding each other. communicating. like wooyapooya said hes contradicting himself. he dont know what the hell he wants. hell he could even be faking it to. not to be mean. but you should really talk it out, and be honest with each other. if hes that man you said he is, being happy and smart. then let him listen to you. knock some sense in his head.
