Alright so... I met this guy at the movie theater. He was really sweet, and he couldn't take his eyes off me. Afterwards, we went out on a few dates, and everything's perfect, problem is... my parents don't like him because he doesn't have that much money, and we do. They tell me not to see him.... what do I do? Do I please my parents, or follow my heart?

well, let's see.
are you dating him? or are you dating him? do you like him for who he is? or do you like him if he has money or not? you're...17-19? ish? and ur going to listen to ur parents' biased blind views, on the fact that he isn't a good enough boy because "he doesn't have that much money"? it's ur call. if u value ur parents' consent that much, then follow their word. or you can grow out of that phase already, and do what you want with your life. |

You definitely follow your heart. He sounds like a good guy and he can't help it if he's not as rich as you. Relationships based on wealth/social status are completely stupid and in the old days. Stay with him and tell your parents that you don't care how rich or poor he is; you like him and that's enough.
