Hi, I wanted to ask if anybody had any experience with Link Removed - I read this article about it, and it's tempting yet a bit scary .. what do you guys think? _unsure.gif

personally, I would never get it.
I'd never want to "always have on makeup"
just because I like to change my look every once in awhile.
and I dunno, I wouldn't feel like paying for it ^_^;

I understand why someone would get it,
like if they were allergic to the chemicals and whatever,
but for me, I'm gonna have to say no. :)

makeup styles change....at least every couple years. Unless you want to look outdated all the time, it's probably not such a great idea

This has been around for awhile...

which makes it all the more not to do it.
Ever seen old ladies with tattooed eyes or lips they had done when they were younger so that they could save the time putting eyeliner and lip liner on?

I have. It's ugly.

i've herd of it and seen it on tv with some of those women who have like 60 plastic surgeries, but i wouldn't do it because as said previously, i'd like to change it up once in a while and styles change.

Yeah, this has been around for a while. I think the only time that it should really be done is with people who have been through Chemo get their eyebrows tattooed on or people with alopecia because it saves them time of trying to perfect it everyday.

I know two people with it.

One woman has eyeliner or maybe it's her eyebrows. Her employer has her lips lined and it actually looks pretty natural.

Ew. I wouldn't.
This reminds me of how people get tatoos on their eyes or something so they don't have to put on eyeliner everyday.

Would it change with your skin tone? Like, if you got it done when you were kind of fair-skinned, and then you get super tan a while later, would it still be the fair color it was before? That would be so wierd. I would never do that... makeup changes according to mood.

That's where my head is at (mood changes). I'd find it dull to have the same makeup on all the time. Also, I'm a frequent changer or hair color, so one color scheme might not work with the next hair color.

Plus, I'm an advocate of being natural; no surgeries or permenant alterations.

Well sun exposure can change the color and tint of your tattoo. A tattoo for the purpose of not having to apply cosmetics will fade the same way other tattoos do. They will eventually have to be retouched and will eventually lose the intense pigment they started out with. The colors of the tattoos don't change based on your skin tone... if you get tan and you got the tattoo when you were lighter. Of course, people with darker skin tones usually need to get brighter and more intense colors for them to show up on their skin. But that's more like African Americans.
