It was hilarious while it lasted, but afterwards when I thought about it, it was pretty offensive to just about everyone. sad.gif I don't really know if I really have a such a great opinion about it anymore.

I saw it yesterday, and I honestly didn't like it all that much. Yeah, there were hilarious parts ("what up vanilla face?") and I could definitely see why others thought it was off-the-wall hilarious, but I felt really bored a lot of the time. It's not that I'm offended, but it was just really really stupid humor. A lot of poeple said that he deals with a ton of "taboo" things, but when those things were addressed, I just kind of went "So? Big deal."

The is a fine line between being funny and being downright disrespectful. This movie crossed that line.

I kicked some guy in the back of the head for laughing at the "running of the jew scene."

I had a feeling there was going to be a post about this movie.

Yeah well I just watched it recently as well. The movie made me laugh hard overall, but the ending got me disappointed. I just hate when good movies have bad endings.

And I'll have to mention that "one scene" and when I say that "one scene" you guys should know what I'm talking about. I don't even have to say anymore. But yeah, that "one scene" scarred my mind for the whole night. (Obviously I'm talking about the wrestling scene). I think they overdid that even though it was really funny. To the point where most of our minds were just like "okay....that's way too hardcore" hahaha I don't know.

It's a habit for me nowadays to quote Borat. My friend Jessie and I always say "VELLY NAICE!" and we go up to random people and say "Hey your shirt is black........ NAT!!!!"

Its good that they released DVD! heck yes!

The movie is funny, and I dont get the people who cant take a joke/this movie, for me if a person didnt laugh at least 3 times, it means he/she has no humor.

It's not the best movie but its hilariously crazy.

You can not be serious? It's a comedy that is challenging our culture, and the cultures of other people: taboo things will present. You would either have to be a coward, a dolt, or an extremist to think that this film crossed any serious lines. It was a joke. Nothing about it was particularly penetrating, especially not the feigned antisemitism.

And, more seriously, even if someone found humor in something you found as disrespectful, physically harming them because of such is ridiculous. You can't justify that, you just can't. If anyone crossed any lines it was you. As if it's alright to kick people, but not alright to joke about kicking people. Douche bag.
