I highly doubt that I'll be able to get the Wii the day it comes out or any time soon after that. But I'm excited for when I do. I cannot wait to play the new Smash, Mario Kart, and Mario Parties. They are the best ever. My brother will probably want whatever Starfox games are for it, too.

QUOTE Nintendo's new console ships with Wii Sports, which effectively demonstrates a new breed of games only possible on Wii. The Zelda franchise is equally exclusive to the machine and Twilight Princess is must-see, must-play and must-own entry into the series that proves over and over again why Nintendo is the best developer in the world. -IGN.com 'Nuff said. |

QUOTE In addition to new titles, Nintendo is making the greatest video game archive in history available for download to its Virtual Console. NES games start at 500 Wii Points, Super NES games start at 800 Wii Points and Nintendo 64 games start at 1,000 Wii Points. Sega Genesis games start at 800 Wii Points and TurboGrafx16 games start at 600 Wii Points. Wii Points can be purchased online or at retail at an MSRP of $20 for 2,000 points. Additional hardware accessories, such as the Classic Controller, may be required to play Virtual Console games and are sold separately. -Nintendo.comThat is the coolest thing ever. You can download all your favorites for NES, SNES, N64 and even Sega and they play them on the Wii! And you can use a Gamecube controller with almost all of them and also the Wii controller! That's so cool! Imagine Duck Hunt with the Wii controller! hahaha. |

Actually, that's not a downside at all. I like how they stuck to the standard. You can always buy rechargeable AA batteries anyway. No problem! 15 years from now when you take Wii off the shelf and want to play some classic games (like I do with my NES and SNES all the time) you'll be able to replace the batteries easily. Unlike the PS3 or 360 built in batteries that would be long dead by then, even when charged, and the controllers are basically impossible to find. |
